The collection represents a part of our lead designer Viola's diploma project at MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest). The collection is also a research to find answers to the question of how inherited objects influence everyday life, our identity, culture and memories. Is it possible that an image can substitute an object and can preserve our memories? How can we keep all these personal and cultural treasures and go on at the same time? Her topic is based on a very personal experience: she inherited a flat containing all the accessories her grandparents left behind and soon she and her brother moved in. So it became her biggest issue: how to form the space without letting memories go. The collection represents these objects and living spaces in her perspective.
